Mensedit.gr is operated by GTOUR SERVICES EE (VAT: EL802609490), registered at Elias, 34100 Chalkida, Greece. We are committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who shops with us. This policy sets out clearly what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how you can control it.

What We Collect

When you browse our site, create an account, or place an order, we may collect the following:

  • Your name and contact details — email address and phone number
  • Delivery and billing addresses
  • Payment information, processed securely by our payment providers (we do not store full card details)
  • Your order history and any correspondence with us
  • Browsing behaviour on our site, collected via cookies and analytics tools

How We Use It

We use your information only for purposes directly related to your experience with us:

  • To process, fulfil, and communicate updates on your orders
  • To manage your account and respond to enquiries
  • To personalise your experience on mensedit.gr
  • To send editorial updates and new arrival notifications — only if you have opted in

Your data is never used for purposes beyond those described here without your explicit consent.

Legal Basis for Processing

  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — retaining transaction records for tax and accounting purposes, and complying with any lawful authority requests
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — fraud prevention, website security, and improving our services. We apply this basis only where our interests are not overridden by your rights

Who We Share It With

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only where strictly necessary with trusted service providers who support our operations:

  • Payment processors — to securely handle your transactions
  • Courier and logistics partners — to deliver your orders
  • Technology platforms — to power our website, email, and customer service tools

Each provider is bound by strict confidentiality obligations and is permitted to use your data only for the specific service they provide to us.

International Data Transfers

Some of the service providers we use are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where your personal data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place:

  • Shopify Inc. (Canada) — our e-commerce platform. Canada holds an EU adequacy decision. Shopify also maintains Standard Contractual Clauses for additional protection
  • Payment processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal) — may process data in the US. Both operate under Standard Contractual Clauses and/or recognised data transfer frameworks
  • Google Analytics — website analytics. Data may be processed in the US. Google operates under Standard Contractual Clauses. You may opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Standard Contractual Clauses are EU-approved contracts that require third parties to protect your data to the same standard as within the EEA. You may request a copy by contacting us.

How Long We Keep It

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as required to provide our services. Where the law requires us to keep records — for example, transaction data for tax purposes — we comply with the applicable retention periods.

You may request the deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will act promptly, except where a legal obligation requires us to retain certain records.

Cookies

We use cookies — small text files stored on your device — to ensure our website functions correctly and to understand how it is used. We use the following types:

Αυτόματα emails υπενθύμισης καλαθιού · Automated cart reminder emails

Όταν προσθέτετε προϊόντα στο καλάθι σας και ξεκινάτε τη διαδικασία ολοκλήρωσης παραγγελίας (checkout), συλλέγουμε τη διεύθυνση email σας ώστε, εάν δεν ολοκληρώσετε την αγορά, να μπορούμε να σας στείλουμε μια υπενθύμιση.

Αυτό συμβαίνει μόνο εάν έχετε επιλέξει το πεδίο συγκατάθεσης για ενημερωτικά email κατά την ολοκλήρωση της παραγγελίας. Χωρίς τη ρητή σας συγκατάθεση, δεν λαμβάνετε καμία τέτοια επικοινωνία.

Το email υπενθύμισης περιλαμβάνει έναν μοναδικό εκπτωτικό κωδικό 10%, ο οποίος ισχύει για 48 ώρες. Στέλνουμε το πολύ ένα τέτοιο email ανά διεύθυνση εντός περιόδου 12 μηνών. Το email αποστέλλεται περίπου 4 ώρες μετά την εγκατάλειψη του καλαθιού.

Μπορείτε ανά πάσα στιγμή να αποχωρήσετε από τη λίστα μέσω του συνδέσμου «Διαγραφή» που περιλαμβάνεται σε κάθε email μας. Μετά τη διαγραφή σας, δεν θα λάβετε κανένα άλλο email αυτής της κατηγορίας.

  • Δεδομένα που επεξεργαζόμαστε: διεύθυνση email, περιεχόμενο καλαθιού, χρόνος έναρξης checkout.
  • Χρόνος διατήρησης: 12 μήνες ή έως ότου αποχωρήσετε από τη λίστα.
  • Νομική βάση: η ρητή σας συγκατάθεση (Άρθρο 6 παρ. 1 στοιχ. α΄ του Γενικού Κανονισμού Προστασίας Δεδομένων — GDPR).

When you add products to your cart and start the checkout process, we collect your email address so that, if you do not complete your purchase, we can send you a reminder.

This only happens if you have ticked the marketing consent checkbox during checkout. Without your explicit consent, you will not receive any such communication.

The reminder email contains a unique 10% discount code valid for 48 hours. We send a maximum of one such email per email address within a 12-month period. The email is sent approximately 4 hours after the cart is abandoned.

You can unsubscribe at any time via the "Unsubscribe" link included in every email we send. Once unsubscribed, you will not receive any further emails of this kind.

  • Retention period: 12 months or until you unsubscribe.
  • Legal basis: your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR).
